Banisteriopsis caapi (Aya Vine) Micro Dosing Drops
In stock (can be backordered)
Banisteriopsis caapi is also known as Ayahuasca vine. This is a renowned healing herb from the Amazonian jungle, with a recorded history of use for over 1,000 years.
Traditionally used in larger doses, in combination with the DMT containing plant Chacruna (Psychotria viridis), where in sacred ceremony it is used to cleanse, heal and awaken the human consciousness to states of divine bliss and clarity on our life’s path. Please note this medicine does not contain Chacruna, therefore there is no psychoactive DMT in this product, which is why it is safe to use in most cases (see contraindications and interactions), to enhance consciousness in this pure micro-dosing form.
This pure vine extract is non-addictive, and offers subtle transformations that take a little more time than a full blown ceremony. Plus there is no need to engage in a dieta where your food is restricted to allow the ceremony to be effective, although a good diet and pure lifestyle will aid your spiritual awareness an is always advisable when on a spiritual path. It works gentle, soothing the soul, uplifting the spirit.
This microdosing formula contains only Banisteriopsis caapi vine & distilled water, to create a fluid extract of the highest potency for your healing and awakening. It is made in the traditional Shipibo way, taking the time to create sacred space for the spirit as well as the chemistry of the plant to enter the medicine, infused with 12 hours of prayers, sacred songs and blessings by an experienced plant spirit medicine woman.
The science behind the medicine
There has been some interesting research on this powerful plant healer, describing the chemistry and the potentials for use. Clinical research suggests that the 3 main alkaloids present in B. caapi: harmine, tetrahydroharmine and harmaline show antidepressant activity, linked to hippocampal neurogenesis – helping our brain to grow new functional neurons, and integrate them into existing circuits – thereby changing our brains physical structure. These findings also suggest there may be a use for this plant in treating other brain disorders and neuro-degenerative diseases such as parkinsons.
B.caapi also has documented SSRI and MAOI activity, through these pathways it also encourages brain plasticity and is known to ease depression and anxiety.
Regular use of B.caapi has also been associated with reduction in problematic alcohol, cocaine and opiate consumption.
Banisteriopsis caapi is also rich in antioxidants, proanthocyanidins, epicatechin and procyanidin B2.
MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE: The first time i worked with B.caapi in micro-dose formula I felt an immediate shift in consciousness – much calmer, a sense of relaxation spread through my physical body – similar to drinking a large dose of ceremonial cacao or having a massage. I closed my eyes and meditated and met the spirt of Mama Ayahuasca – a huge green goddess towering high into the canopy of the rainforest. I felt like I was in the presence of a deeply wise and compassionate healing being. She spoke to me softly, she was pleased to see me. I cried for a good 10 minutes with tears of release, as grief and pain left my body I felt more energy, more light enter the space. After 10 minutes I felt the colours were brighter, the world around me more vivid.
I had been working with different suppliers products from the USA and UK for some months before making my own formula. I wanted to know exactly what was in my bottle, how strong it was and when it was made. And I am extremely happy with this medicine, it feels more potent, I know it has been infused with my prayers and sacred songs fully and intentionally in the traditional Shipibo way. It also tastes a little like liquorice, which is a pleasant flavour to most.
I have been experimenting with using the drops during gong healing sessions to enhance visualisations, and offering a deeper spiritual experience with more clarity. This has also proved extremely interesting, although there is no science behind this practice yet, the feedback has been that working with the drops in meditation and gong healing particularly is a divine symbiotic healing and mildly psychedelic experience. Although there is no DMT in this product, our own brain contains DMT and I theorise it allows our brains own innate ability to have a psychedelic experience more accessible. No-one is seeing anything they shouldn’t with eyes open, but with eyes shut – it enhances the ability to daydream, accessing the third eye and our connection to spiritual states of bliss.
